A JOYFUL cosmic adventure show for all the family will be coming to the Theatre Royal at the end of January.

A story of five children who dream of reaching the moon from their bedroom, Starchitects revisits the magic of our childhood imagination where anything is possible – where a cardboard box can become a train and a dressing-up box is the start of countless adventures.

Created and performed by Hat Fair headliners Motionhouse – who brought to the summer Outdoor Arts Festival, BLOCK and WILD – Starchitects combines a mix of gravity-defying choreography, digital projections, and dance-fusion that the company is renowned for.

With an easy-to-follow and fun storyline, featuring plenty of fun and thrilling surprises, Starchitects is perfect for both young audiences and older family members.

The show will be at the Theatre Royal on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28.

The Friday performance at 6.30pm is audio-described so that visually impaired audience members can listen to a narrator describing the action on stage between the dialogue and via a set of headphones.

Meanwhile, the show’s page on the theatre’s website includes a visual story that audience members can download to help them find out what to expect from the show before they go – including descriptions of what happens scene-by-scene.
